Porteños' passions

Thanks to Tango, Soccer and their idols, Porteños have found their recipe to sweeten up their bitter pill. Historically life has not always been easy in Argentina but....when the week-end comes, tango and soccer can make you forget the hard times.

Boca Junior is the team where it all began for Maradona. La Boca is one of the most pictoresque barrio of Buenos Aires. Originally LA Boca was the area where all the Italian immigrants went to live. I am sure this explains one of the biggest stadium I have ever seen being located smack in the centre of this area. When you enter La Boca, green and blue (Boca Junior footbal team colours) is everywhere.
